How It Works

The Games

GameHäus is a board game café; when you visit us, there’s a small $5.00 cover if you’d like to play board games. Unlike other cafés which have a small shelf of five to ten board games like Monopoly and Jenga, the cover at GameHäus gives you access to:

• a six-hundred-title (and growing) board game library (list of titles here), including classics (Risk, Scrabble, Monopoly), party games (Taboo, Cranium, Werewolf, Balderdash), Euro games (Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders, Ticket to Ride, Agricola) card games (Bang!, Bohnanza, Monopoly Deal) and Adventure games (Arkham Horror, Shadow Hunters, Betrayal at House on the Hill, The Resistance). New releases will be added on a regular basis.
• unlimited play from the library — as many games as you can play, and unlimited play time (as long as we’re open).
• board game-related theme nights and events like “Boardgames 101”.

The Cafe

Our café features great coffee, tea, espresso and cold drinks; whether you’re up for a bracing shot of espresso or a soulful cup of Earl Grey tea, our coffee bar is ready to offer the perfect compliment to your meal or pastry. Our food menu offers great cafe fare including sandwiches, grilled paninis and finger foods. In the mood for a sweet? We offer a great selection of house-made pies and pastries as well as beautiful and delicious creations from our bakery partner, Tasteful Cakes.
